At SCN we value the gifts that people bring, more than just a monetary amount. We believe that God calls us to give, with our time, our ability, and our finances. We believe the more we are faithful to the Lordâs call in their giving, the more faithful He will prove Himself to be as well. So for us, it isnât about how much we give, but rather how much we are trusting the Lord in our own lives.
Why should I give?
Giving, in any form, is a very personal part of our relationship with Jesus. There are many practical scriptures, as well as many personal examples from followers of Jesus, that point to the personal growth and deeper relationship with Jesus that come from personal sacrifice. Which is why we can honestly say, âwe donât care how much you give, only that you do.â
Not only is giving personally edifying, but every gift given at SCN goes toward the mission that God has call us to. From the services to the blessing we share with our community, none of it would be possible without the faithful volunteers and financial gifts we receive.

Several ways to give
If you would like to give of your time or your ability, we can always use more people to join the team! Click the image below to find several opportunities to help in our church and in our community.
Give in person or by mail
In our sanctuary, beside both entrances, you will see two small boxes. You are welcome to grab an envelope out of the back of one of our chairs, place your offering inside, and put it in the box. All donations are tax deductible, so if you would like your donation tracked make sure you fill out the envelope before putting it in the box. You can also give by mail at:

Give online
Our online giving tool is very simple to use for both a one time donation or to set up for a regular occurrence. You can also choose a specific fund or cause to give toward, or to the general âTitheâ category. Here is a brief explanation of some of the main areas of giving in our church.
- Tithe: this is the general fund in which we use to pay for the expenses of the church, as well as the majority of daily ministry that happens at SCN. Gifts here are used at the discretion of our elected leadership board and and leadership team.
- Building Fund: IMAGINE: this fund is going toward the big dream God has given our church, adding a on a new addition! Find out more by CLICKING HERE!
- Youth or Childrenâs Ministry: you can give directly to two of the most important areas in our church, our teens and our children.
- Missions: the Church of the Nazarene supports missionaries and mission work all over the world. Money given to missions at SCN goes directly to support local and foreign acts of sharing the gospel and practically caring for others.
After you have set up your profile and have made your first gift, you can also check your giving history, set up recurring donations, and print your own statements!

If you would like to give regularly online, would you consider giving a little extra to cover the cost? For those that give with a credit or debit card, the fee we pay is 3% of each gift. For those that give via their bank account, the fee is only $0.25 per transaction. Every little bit goes a long way. We would ask that you would consider including the fees into your giving to help cover the convenience cost of giving online.

Can you really afford to give?
We believe firmly that when we follow the leading of the Lord in our giving not only will He provide financially, but His blessing will be so much more abundant than just that. The blessing of the Lord will absolutely overflow in your life! We believe this so firmly that we offer all of our first time givers a 90 day challenge; that after 90 days of faithful giving, if you havenât seen the Lordâs faithfulness in your life we will give you every penny back. We believe in transparency
We will never hide who we are and how the Lord leads us, including and especially financially. We put out a yearly statement for all of our finances and any one is welcome to come and ask questions at any time.
